I must say it's the best solid state amp I have heard so far and I have own in the last 35 years from us to uk brands. I have the F M III, only a few Tube amps I like as much as this amp. Make sure you get the 4 button pedal.
@presatito I have played all the Mustang amps and the Mustang III has the best speaker (GT Hot 100). The GT-100 is the best modelling amp speaker on the market (sounds accurate from top to very bottom of frequency range) and I've own or have owned all the classic UK made Celestions. I also have the 4x12 Mustang V Head and Cab which can get too loud just like my Hot Rod Deluxe. The III sounds great at any volume, no need to crank it up, but you will anyway! Pay the extra and get the III
I have a question....I'm flipping back and forth whether I will get the mustang II or III. I'm a house/room player only. I think it's worth the extra money for the screen and better celestion speaker in the III. What concerns me is if it is too much for the house. I know modelling keeps it's tone for the most part regardless of volume but do you need to crank the III a little bit to get it to sound better and get the speaker moving? Thanks.
@terryorr Ok, thanks. I'm set on getting the III.
