Communism works in theory. One major flaw however is that the top always abuses the communism way.

@HaaraaldEriksson Personally.... and im no political science major, but i would socially like a slightly left government while having a slight right wing economy e.g. Capitalism/Mercantilism. My reason being both sides have extremes [Communism and Facism respectfully] and both are pretty crappy, for lack of a better term.

That is absolutely true, and I totally agree with you. Fascists are a great threat which still isn't over yet. I'd prefer to live in a socialist state than to live in a fascist state. But that doesn't mean I like the socialists, because I don't think socialism is the right way for mankind.

In my opinion a free democratic and liberalistic state is the best option. It has it's downsides, that is true. But show me any state which has none.

@HaaraaldEriksson well, all my saying is that right-wing parties should be banned permanently, as they also did in the GDR. Nationalist ideologist make absolutely no sense and are deeply contradictive within themselves.

There are no master-raced people, you can see parallels to every culture and society of the world, and the differences in people are created through social backgrounds, not ethnic backgrounds. But well, all the people ever do is criticise socialism...

You can see this also in a great part of todays eastern Germany: After the collapse of the GDR many newly formed political structures were built and maintained by former communists, just because they were used to their job and knew how to do it.
