  • @Mr1nce I picked up a mint complete copy of this few months ago for 20 bucks. HA

  • Raiden 3 sucked because of the bomb variety that failed to please the fans. Hope Raiden 4's in the Xbox 360 not a disappointment.

  • the composer of this masterpieces (soundtracks) was Akira Satoh

  • F*** WHY DID I GET RID OF THIS GAME. I bought this when it first came out on the Playstation. The RAIDEN SERIES used to munch my quarters ALL THE TIME so when this came out IT WAS A NO BRAINER. I used to be in my room VOLUME UP ON FULL BLAST WHILE MOM WAS AT WORK. The sound effects didn't get any better than Raiden.

  • This game is sooo freaking awesome!

    Neo Geo FTW!

  • My favorite stage bgm! And I fully agree with Seventh Sun, I really love the Raiden series...Raiden 2 and the new complation Raiden Fighters ACES for the 360 are just awesome retro goodness.

  • According the speed of enemy bullet and enemy's fire frequency, the difficulty should be at easy level. Arcade or default difficulty is much harder than this. The BGM is a littile different with Raiden II's OST. It sounds like a remix. ( Of cource, the remix is better than OST. OST sounds like 8-bits midi. )

  • This game may be called basic by those people, but the music is breathtaking and full of heart.

Especially this second stage one, both original and remix. I can imagine Iori throwing his projectile Super Desperation Move (from '97) in the distance, in desperation.

And the game is a pretty sadistic shooter, like Aero Fighters and Thunder Dragon.

    Anyway thanks Seibu Kaihatsu.
