That the only problem I have with this car, too - the really cheap looking plastic interior. In this case the 997 is better looking inside.

Lighter than its predecessor and less parts. Larger but lighter.

More grunt comes from water cooling not additional valves.
And I don't think Ferrari uses alum structure. Older ones like 328,348,355,456 all use steel tubing.

I don't really agree with the comment about Aluminum since the NSX is made completely out of Aluminum and is the most reliable supercar out there slight edge over 911.
