Travelling with Lufthansa also means to travel with Boeing, either in a shape of an 737 or in the elegant Jumbo jet, the 747. Thanks to William E. Boeing, a son of German immigrants, who founded Boeing in Seattle. He created milestones of aviation history and wanted to provide the best for civil and military aviation.
Watch the history and the future of Boeing and be aware of the link to European's leading airline: Lufthansa.

  • The 747-8 was far less successful than Boeing had hoped.

  • @SavaMarkovicPilot Wrong! The Concorde WAS the Queen of the Sky! Until it got speared through the heart by the Boeing 747 and then it took over! Hahahaha!

  • So the Germans invented the cars AND modern aircraft?

  • @marcus1880 Wrong. The Concorde is the Queen of the Sky!

  • @k4n3n1 i fly lufthansa from frankfurt to abu Dhabi.. ive flown this route 4 times.. 3 of them were a340s and the last one was an a330

  • no plane in the world history or present day is as beautiful graceful or elegant as a 747, and just heard that lufthansa has ordered 26 747-8 and counting, thats more than any of their a330-a340's, the only airbus that lufthansa have more of is the boring a320-a321's.

  • @john2llm than you propubly flown lufthansa once, i commute between berlin and new york almost every year except last year, and nearly all the flight i took except for two flights, they were all beoing. and i cant wait for lufthansa 26 and counting 747-8 they ordered, it's gonna out number the ugly a380, plus with the euro crisis near callapse, who's dumb enough to invest in a over sized ugly over priced a380.

  • @john2llm Hahaha, same here! :D Usually its an A321 with me :P

  • the airbus a330-300 and a340-600 that i've been on with lufthansa have been pretty nice. boeing has some competition.
