u can not compare JIHAD with Musa (as). Musa(as) was sent to warn the worst person.. and it has NOTHING to do with jihad... subhanAllah... its very sad that we have come to a point were some ulema in west twist and make islam to a mambo jambo peace hippi religion.. ISLAM is strong and we are not allowed to be cowerds or escape when danger comes or leave a brother/sister behind... if we can not help them at least our hearts desires to do so by fighting the disbelievers who invades or insults

@donjuan86489871, you are talking about a periode, when the prophet was seeing, was saying, new elements. the people at that time saw the prophet as a magicmen liar ect. so he protect himself against that, so they declare war against prophet en who was with him. to ask me that the sahabi din'nt pray? i do not behold that anwser, is up to allah.
-
Do you think the Sahabi, who died as a Martyr shortly after he became Muslim fighted within himself and developed a good character? He didnt even pray one Rak'at, and died in the Jihad beside the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.

@fahim230 I disagree, he has said several times should not tone down our beliefs to make them acceptable to non-Muslims(Here is one example: watch?v=Jm_ehpxYs4g). He is presenting a moderate point of view because Islam is a moderate religion, and we need to present that to the public as well, because it's the extremists who are tarnishing the image of Islam and our Prophet (saw).

Jihad means fighting within your self. in a way to developed in a good character. thats the basis. then you have JIHAD like war, troops vs troops.

Wait Quran says it's clear it says in many verses and it also say God's word. So it's clear and God's word. But still people can understand different. One claim Jihad is holy war and other claim holy struggle hey but Quran is still clear. Didn't jihad part world in 2 pieces. Darul islam and dar ul harb? Didn't darul harb mean places to be conquered and saved by Islam? So stop being like peaceful I don't need a cleric, looking to Islamic world is enough to understand.
Hamza needs help..this guys is watering down the religion, to come to term with the kafirs. May Allah guide him. Ameen
