Guinea Pig Picture Compilation Part 1

This is a little tribute to the sweetest little animals I have ever known. I never knew how cute and sweet guinea pigs could be, since the ones you see in pet stores are so scared all the time.

Well, that's because of how bad of an environment that is for them. At home and bonded to a person, they are these personality filled purr fuzz balls.

I love my piggies.

But sadly, they live very short lives, none ever living more than a decade, and most not making it very far past their 5th birthday. Although I do have an old sow named Dutch who turned 6 and a half this month.

Mostly, this is dedicated to our pig Saigon who was euthanized in May after fighting a very very hard battle with jaw and tooth problems.

Saigon is the little guy in the middle of the video taking his medicine.

He was a strong little trooper, who still purred despite his pain. We have a very very wonderful vet and he had some surgery, but it wasn't until after his death when we learned how his was a fight that could never be won.

His special little pal Tang, who you can see snuggled up to him in a picture (and his little brother from another litter) carries on and owes his life in a way to his big brother Saigon.

But that is a long story.

For now, just enjoy this collage and gaze upon the cute fuzzy faces of Mull, Moxie, Puffkin, Dutch, Mungo, Tang, Wilson and Saigon.

The song is an instrumental version of the song "Arigatou" or Thank You from the anime Fushigi Yuugi.

Thank you. Not all of them in the video were healthy, this was a tribute to Saigon, the one being fed the syringe. His story is a long one I mention briefly in the video info. But, I have a phenomenal vet and the rest of my herd stays in very good shape.

my guinea pig chewy had to take medicine he despised it and he was only 2 years old and whenever he took a breath he would get bigger then he just couldnt take it a died :'(
