I have a best friend Hannah, we have known each other since I was 5. And, to be honest, I don't remember one argument we had that was actually serious. We probably argued about, who got which set of Barbie clothes. And you know, we still do. Yeah, I'm 14 years old and I play Barbies with my best friend Hannah, because, we are best friends, and THAT is what best friends do.

I will be 18 this year, and I would class my one friend as a best friend as I can talk to her about anything and everything, and she doesn't judge. I do the same for her as well.

we were friends for a few years, but since we started college we have grown extremely close. She is the only person I feel I can open up to :-)

My best friend was born 3 days after me. Our mothers were in the same hospital room. We've lived less than 4 minutes away from each other (by car) all our lives until I moved away for university in September. We're very alike but even more different. I don't think I could hate her if I tried.

I only ever had a total of 1 or 2 friends at a time before the age of 10, due to a speech impediment, a (still enduring) barrier of my higher level of intelligence, and overall social ineptitude. I regret to say that in the 3rd grade I tried to spread a rumor about a bully being gay because she had spread innumerous rumors about my best friend of that time, and, so far as I can remember, I thought at that time that homosexuality was the stuff of myths. A lot of my past friends were just kind of labels, it was like stupid decisions because everyone needed "a pair". My first real best friend is from last year, and it isn't really a decision or a label, you just kind of know, and its really nice because they never get tired of you and you can feel comfortable being your own wierd self around them... So yeah.
