The only post-seattle band i actually liked.Wozniak wrote some inventive lyrics,and some really catchy songs.I can't understand how crap bands like matchbox 20,third eye blind and that other shit got more popular in the late 90's.Shame,they were pretty good,and i think the best of the post seattle bands in my opinion.

@TheGatorfan93 Clearly you haven't listened to all that some of those "crap bands" have produced from the same era. Check out the song Slow Motion from Third Eye Blind - has the same kind of feel as One More Suicide... yet its from a "crap" band :)

MP is a wonderful band though, hugely understated and I think that is what you really meant.

@TheGatorfan93 I got to see them last year at the 2010 HFStival. I was so close I could have spit and hit John. I was just as close at the 98 HFStival. I fu**ing love marcy playground!!! Come to south central PA please!!!

They do get radio play and they're going pretty strong. They're picking back up! A very good friend of mine has been touring with them and is great friends with Woz. I'm happy to say that they're all doing well!

I can add another 10 corporately " produced bands ,,'

that have been " established " by massive radio play

that have nothing to do with a well written song :

puddles of mud , nickle mud..lady bra & panties, saliva and

the rest of the lot of terrible new FM music being thrust upon the listening public wannabes /

get a tatoo,. a really mean grimacing look, a pair of tore up panties, some , overly distorted guitars '

and shout alot ..'
