Baby Parrots Transition to Their New Home

Beni and Wrigley, the two young parrots I trained for the Kaytee Learning Center have transitioned to their new home! This video clip shows their first training session just moments after they arrive. As well as some of the other sessions throughout the week. It was tougher for me to get footage of Beni because he kept flying to me due his long history of positive reinforcement with me. In an effort to help him get more interested in other people, I often hid during his sessions. But you will see some fun footage of him interacting with a fake parrot. that looks like such a lovely place. the UK doesnt seem so nationally interested in birds like in the US. its a shame, because theyre really wonderful!
