My mom's great uncle was carilloneur at Luray in the late 50's. One of my earliest childhood memories was our family going to Luray on a sunny summer Sunday afternoon to visit the family. My mom's uncle invited me (probably a 3- or 4-year old), to the tower to watch him play the Sunday vespers music. I'm so glad the Tower is still "singing."
