I am an American of partial French heritage. This video brought me to tears.
We, too, will never forget.
Vive la France! LIBERTÉ - ÉGALITÉ - FRATERNITÉ!

Lib cretin, first of all, the US thanked France twice in one century.. WW1 and WW2.
Secondly, Go fuck yourself.

I was holding the American flag and we were told it was going to be on CNN. It never aired which never happened. The kids holding the flag were americans though. To the kids and our leaders it touched us in a huge way

Thank you France... It's a shame this was not covered in the media, or at least I do not remember it. It's also a shame that the United States has not released a similar gesture thanking France for the aid in our revolution or for their long-time status as our ally and friend.(Ignore the Neo-con message... it is DEFINITELY not the true American feelings.)
Viva la France!

this brought tears to my eyes. thank you. America will never forget either. If not for France's part in the American revolution its entirely possible we would have lost. Even though we bicker like siblings, our histories are forever intertwined

thank you.

I am one of the co-founder of the Group The French Will Never Forget and organiser of the event. I assure you that I am a french citizen, and everybody else in the organization. I find your comment to be disrespectful of our effort and of the 2500 french citizens who took several hours out of their week end to send a message of respect and friendship to our american allies. I am curious to know who your so-called uncle is (hopefully it is not me..) Please grow up.

Thank you France for this tremendous show of respect for the men - from many nations, not just America - who ran up those beaches to save Europe from the darkness that was nazi occupation. For all the petty differences of opinion; our two continents belong together. Back then, and sure as hell today.
