Kherington Payne Fame

Everybody asks like oh when are you going to move to LA to do all that. I'm like, never, I'm not going to LA I'm not leaving Orange County" I love it here!!
19 year old Kherington Payne is an Orange County girl, born and raised, but the lights of Hollywood caught her early with success on "So You Think You Can Dance .."
"The show was incredible, not only did I meet my second family. I learned so much about myself as a person and also as a dancer. It just teaches you so much and you learn so much and it's mentally challenging, physically challenging and I just miss it so much."
All of her hard work and training paid off for Kherington because FAME, the movie came right away
I guess I was really nervous going into it because when you think LA and that industry and you donít think people are going to be very nice everybody, cast and crew were the sweetest people Iíve ever met. They were welcoming with open arms, we had fun on set, every day was like a play day.
So all of this stuff came at a really interesting time, you were just about to graduate high school, is there anything that you missed that you wish that you had gotten to?
"we had prom on Saturday, Sunday I had a going away party and I left that Monday and so I missed 3 weeks of school and I missed graduation I cried"
But missed ceremony aside, Kherington is loving her new adventure and has decided to pursue dancing and acting for awhile before going back to college.
There are tons of kids in OC who are dancers and singers and actors, what would you tell them?
Don't get discouraged, there's so many people in this business that tell you that you canít do it or you can't make it and it's not true. CUT the slogan for the movie which is kind of cheesy but so true itís dream it earn it live it and I believe those words are totally true if you have a dream and you work really hard to earn it, you can end up living it.
