But this is the economics of good music, a good singer with no fame cannot fill the auditorium and a crappy one with a namme can, someone like Peerayeh ends up working with soli as Lotfi used to play with Zoya Sabet in Los Angeles. It goes down to average joe's ignorance about good music.

Soli has and did have a nice sound texture. Some pop singers have good voice quality but unfortunately not much training. Soli is somewhat better than most. Now as far as singing serious music, I too say ehh ... I don't know.
