Similarly, if banks deny mortgage loans to the poor & those with poor credit, then the banks are denying them the right to own a home, yet if banks grant them mortgage loans (whose interest rates are necessarily high due to the risk of default), the banks are exploiting the poor & those with poor credit. Like Tom Smith, the banks are damned if they do, damned if they don't.
