    I rough;y divide Woody Allen films into two categories:1-His humane movies which I love and 2-His angst movies which I dont..

    Its obvious into which BDR falls.

    This is my dearest Woody Allen's movie. I watched it few times and cried every time at the end :). I know it's weird, but I really like this movie. The second one is Purple rose of Cairo.

    the performances of WA, MF and Nick Appollo, just spot on. The mafia function out of town ...in fact all the bit part players just extraordinary. And what an ending ...how sad was that ending with the frozen turkeys ? And then a positive end after all that ! Incredible WA doesn't like the film. I could watch it every day. It has so much soul and pathos. 11/10 !

    This film is almost flawless. No, I can't find one thing wrong with it. I can't undersatnd why Allen himself doesn't seem to think so.
