  • where can i get a mist net to buy?

  • @YoungStunnahSBE I suggest contacting a local Audobon/ornithological society, university, or bird banding station to find opportunities to use mist nets with guidance from people with proper training and permits.

  • @YoungStunnahSBE i have few i am selling.

  • My backyard has a creek that runs through it, and along side the creek grows the Canary Reed Grass, which these birds LOVE...so each Spring (from about mid-May) through late Summer, I have many of these birds down by the creek. They are so GORGEOUS! They brighten my day! :)

  • this bird change of color in spring is blue in winter is brown

  • Beautiful bird. I was lucky enough to see one of these for the first time yesterday in WV. It's feathers are so brilliant that it looks like a tropical bird. I didn't know we were lucky enough to have them on the east coast. By the way, they don't get hurt in the net do they?

  • WOW, he didnt struggle either
