I don't know how much actual research you did, or if you only based it on the movie, but it's obvious you don't know the truth about Joan of Arc. We know what she was like based on answers in her trial. She said herself, for example "I NEVER KILLED A MAN." You should learn more about her before you come to conclusions.

@LeClerc15 "Schizo" is a cultural concept (not a scientific, medical one). And as a matter of fact, today's culture would label the historical Joan of Arc "schizo", lock her up, and throw away the key.

It's not mistakes they've made, it's based on a true story, but they need to make a film more entertaining for the watchers.

There are plenty of other Joan of Arc movies out there that are more hostorically acurate. The Messenger (Luc Bessons) film was made to be a Action Movie for the cinemas and although I also got annoyed by the historical flaws I still enjoyed watching it.

THATS AWESOME! And Hollywood did portray Jean as kind of schizo. I was constantly pointing out mistakes to my dad...he told me to shut up. but in spite of all this I enjoyed the movie.

WOO HOOOOO yeah too right!!!!!1 i saw this film in the cinema, waited for it for months..and walked out angry....very..very..very wrong dipiction..Ohhh..and no metion of her brothers?? and that no-one in history knows about what was said to Charles when Jehanne saw him in chinnon..And Luc, just made stuff up! shame on Luc.
