buffys relationships with angel riley and spike all end badly. they always start out strong, (maybe excpet for spike lol) but eventually they either dont work out or isnt meant to be. song by nelly furtado. all good things come to an end.

Even though I liked Bangel and found the relationship beautiful in a way, they would have been boring to watch through 7 seasons if Angel hadn't left, their relationship was alway monotone and a bit depressing! I get the whole "their love will last forever" thing, and I know that Angel was Buffy's true love, but I still like Spuffy better, their interaction was exciting, as enemies, "friends" and as lovers since their relationship was like a rollercoster, more exiting then the Angel - carusell

I don't think so. Spike understands Buffy on a way like no other. I don't say, Spike would be Buffys one love, 'cause it's Angel, but I wouldn't say too, that Buffy didn't love Spike or Spike didn't love Buffy. They had a wonderfull time, but it couldn't work very long.

And I don't think, all was about sex. They loved each other and you could see in season 7, they can love each other without sex. But thats Spikes type

why do people like spuffy? it was pretty much all about sex. Buffys soulmate was always angel that's why none of the others worked out. She was only with riley and spike because angel left her what, a 1000 times. kinda obvious since Angel just popped in on the last episodes and kissed her passionately then he LEFT her AGAIN. It was their relationship in a nutshell. Then spike was more of a lover and a friend. I like spike a lot, just dont like spuffy.
