@TheACGProduction yes , once u buy and install the game there is no monthly fee like WoW and it is definitly worth the money

GW2 is not going to have a monthly fee its going to be the same 1 time fee as the original however the game probably wont come out until late summer early winter of 2010 and considering GW is pretty cheap right now id say go ahead and get it now bcuz u will be able to transfer data from GW to GW2 when its out... just PM me if u have more questions

im getting the original GW with Eye of the North for free...then if Gw2 comes soon I'll get that instead. Is GW2 gonna be like the original GW games or is it gonna have a monthly subscription?

Definately, however to be honest im probably not the best person to ask. Im not that into these games really, allthough it allows great gameplay for a reasonable price. And since its a one time fee you can have it for a long time without feeling guilty for not playing everyday
