NEWS: Mitt Romney said about the auto bailout, writing this op-ed...
ROMNEY: ... Let detroit go bankrupt...
NEWS: ...arguing if General Motors, Ford and Chrysler get the bailout, you can kiss the American automotive industry goodbye.

CHYRON: "Government resources were helpful and essential to get them back on their feet." - Mitt Romney, Toledo Blade 7/18/12

ROMNEY: The Government wrote those checks. Wasted money.
...wrote checks to the auto industry...
...don't write them a check.

CHYRON: "My view is this, that taxpayer assistance to the industry would occur and could occur" - Mitt Romney, Toledo Blade 7/18/12

ROMNEY: If you just write a check, you're gonna see these companies go out of business ultimately...
...The bailout program was not a success.

CHYRON: "The companies have come back stronger. I'm glad that they were saved." - Mitt Romney, Toledo Blade 7/18/12

ROMNEY: Let's try it again. Okay?
ROMNEY: Help was given, the companies got back on their feet. So, I'll take a lot of credit for the fact that this industry's come back.

CHYRON: Do we really want a President who dances around the issues?

ROMNEY: Came out stronger, exactly as I proposed

Funny, but Romney had no problem begging the federal government for tens of millions to make sure the Winter Olympics was seen as a success and he seen as a savior.

    Money can cure many problems.

Like most Republicans, you sorely need fact checking. GM "is going under"??? GM recently became the biggest largest auto company in the WORLD. Is Fux Nooz lying to you again?

Romney always emphasizes that he follows the LETTER of the law with respect to paying taxes and allowing the voters to see what he has paid. He is a typical predatory businessman who fails to follow the SPIRIT of the law and conduct his business to help his community and the nation as a whole. He is a fraud!

The unemployment rose everywhere from '03 to '07.Nobody debunked the outsourcing fact. Bain Capital outsourced labor overseas. That is fact that Romney dodges (like a draft) by saying he was retired from Bain and the sole stock holder at the same time. OUTSOURCING AMERICAN JOBS IS A HORRIBLE, CONSERVATIVE ACT THAT RAISES THE UNEMPLOYMENT RATE!!! And the company that got the money to build green energy parts used all of that money on jobs in San Diego. The new shop in Mexico was on the co. dime.

goto the bureau of labor & statistics website & check from Jan 03 to Jan 07. unemployment 5.6% to 4.6% then democrat Deval Patrick took over & drove it up to 8.5%. the washing post & new york times have debunked the outsourcing claim. but for the record if NIKE never outsourced, americans would b gluing toxic soles onto the bottom of sneakers all day. OUTSOURCING WITH INVESTORS $ IS A GOOD THING!!! its a bad thing to outsource using tax payers $ like obama did. goto: obamanomicsoutsourced. com

Romney: By "turning around" failing businesses you mean outsourcing American jobs to other nations and defaulting on employee pensions. Bain % Co. was $38 million in debt to Bank of N.E. and recieved a Bush bailout, then it's foundersshared a $100 million bonus. Romney asked and received $1.3 billion for the Olympics - More than all other US Olympics combined. After '03 most state's unemployment rates dropped. Mass fell from 13th in job creation to 47th under Mitt Outsourcer/draftdodger Romney.
