@piggiesmalls4 This type of dandruff is called seborrheic dermatitis and is an inflammatory skin disorder affecting sebaceous-gland-rich areas of skin (which is why affected areas tend to be oily, despite producing flakiness usually characteristic of dry skin). The follicular inflammation is often the result of micro-organisms (namely Malassezia yeasts) and thus may be treated with topical antifungals such as selenium sulfide, salicylic acid, zinc pyrithione sulfur and steroids

Dr.Schultz. Thank you for this post. I have tried and tried and tried many shampoo's, soaps, creams and I am glad to let you all know that Head and Shoulders (Clean and Balanced) really works. Don't try any other Head and Shoulders type. Its ONLY the Clean and Balanced. Period!
