EVERY engine burns oil and coolant. Either in trace amounts in noticeable amounts. There is also no such thing as a rust-free car.

@KONTRAone are you an AUDI tech? by any chance... i think i've seen enough BURN COOLANT AND OIL out of the factory... so, im not trying to be rude... BUT SHUT THE FUCK UP.... if you dont know what your talking about
what evidence do you have, says they dont do that any more? show me a bulletin revised document that states the proper repairs...?

@glassbord quattro and all other permanent awd systems have an effect ALL THE TIME. try to reproduce that same scenario with your fwd and see what happens
