rain and snow do not affect it but ice causes some problems

Nice layout! Beautiful! Do you have snow where you are at? I'm working on mine and worry about the effects on the track.

a lot of hard work there, well done .

and i just thought that if like a neighbor needed some sugar, coffee, or twinkies just load up the train and let it go. with little cameras of course so u know when to stop and if theres a bug or debris on track.

i think it would be awesome if you had some neighbors who get into this if u live in the country and have some 50-100+ acres and make a railroad out in the woods and have little mines, mills, towns, and other stuff to resemble real life and load the trains with dirt, rocks, sand, wood to give it a real look. it would be more realistic with the starting and stopping area. let me know how u like this idea. i was thinking the same type but for model airplanes.
