@jrus1 many if not most individuals buy thinkpads for business use, any many companies still rely on windows xp to run certain programs

I just got mine delivered today. It's amazing! I removed all the stickers and looking to sell my t60 now.

@jrus1 First of all, the WIN XP disks are for the people that downgraded their PC to WIN 7 (there should be a recovery disk creator if you want to recover your WIN 7). Second, I think the size of the laptop is way to thin for your average laptop disk drive. So they had to build a thinner drive to fit in the thing. This is kind of like the Macbook Air, but a lot different.

Also, why they don't incl a bloody DVD drive on the laptop as standard?
