This song reminds of me when I first started to realize I was alive, and that every action had a reaction, Almost everyone has experienced that moment where they look back on there lives, and just cry. Cry because it's sad, it's painful. But also because it's beautiful, and the mistakes we make are part of what make us who we are.

So yeah, we should stop swimming. And start living.

Haha Its easy to do! You find inspiration in it which is what i think every artist strives for to some extent.(or at least i do) This is a beautiful song. i find myself listening to it all the time. His newest solo album is awesome, but i always find this song and A Smart Kid to be some of his most personal work. I just was just saying everyone has a story, and this is his not everybody elses. @winterbottom81 Completely agree. Although I do have to admit.. I related so much to this song, it was hard for me to not to apply myself to it. This song alone got me questioning where I was headed in my life. Now days though.. All I can do is relate to this song. That alone, is enough for me.
