9/22/2012 marked the 25th anniversary of the first time Full House flashed on to our TV screens. So in celebration of this we are listening to Forever by the fake band in the series, Jesse and the Rippers. Started by Uncle Jesse aka Jesse Katsopolis aka actor John Stamos, the band became part of regular discussion in the show.

The song itself actually shows up twice during the show's 8 season run. Once in season 4 episode 19, "The Wedding (part 2)" and again in season 5 episode 26, "Captain Video (part 2)".

FYI: Three of the Beach Boys, Carl Wilson, Bruce Johnston, and Mike Love, are featured as back up singers in the video as well.

FYI of the FYI!: Even though previously recorded by the Beach Boys in 1970 release Sunflower, this song actually made it to The Beach Boys' 1992 album, Summer in Paradise with John Stamos on lead vocals.

FYI of the FYI....of the FYI!!: John Stamos is actually a very well accomplished musician, playing everything from percussion to bass to guitar. He is a regular in the tour line-up for the Beach Boys dating back to the 1980's to present! Which very well explains why the Beach Boys not only appear once on Full House but several times.
