If you know any of them, be sure to tell them! The only one I actually recognize is Steve Chernicoff who went on to appear on the Jeopardy tournament of Champions in the 1990's and again last year. He also contributed to the specification manual of the original Apple Macintosh in 1982. Even he is elusive to contact -- I've tried. He currently works wiith Sun Microsystems.

It's great to see a College Bowl episode that hasn't been seen in years. In this era of reality TV, it's a show that should be revived on network TV. Even though the questions are very tough, it would be a thrill watching these very bright students representing their school.

Interesting...I always wondered how "College Bowl" stacked up against our (high school) "Reach For the Top", and now I have the answer -- "Reach For the Top" was tougher!

When this show was on, l was a kid in grade school. Nice to know l have come along in years. The things they asked then l still do not know today.

You know they only pick out the best and brightest and mold them. They are rewarded of course. After all, it is GE who`s sponsoring them. Who wants dummies in the new order?

I loved this show as a kid. Thanks for loading it up. Amazing how much more diverse the knowledge was amongst university students then as now.

Allen Ludden actually passed away in 1981. He was actually hosting the second revival of "Password" called "Password Plus" that began on NBC in 1978 (Ludden had hosted an earlier revival of "Password" on ABC from 1971-'75 while Tom Kennedy took over from Ludden after his death).
