4 year old kids sure learn to ski fast

My son is turning 5 in 2 months time and this is only his second time on snow. He sure learned quicker than I. We decided to drive to the closest resort mid-week in the evening because it was the last chance for the season, and would you believe it, it snowed for the first time in weeks, and we had 15cm fresh powder. It was absolutely fantastic, even on rental carving skis.

And the slopes were almost completely empty, perfect for learning. The first few times down the slope, I literally had to carry him down. But by the third time he had it licked and was skiing like a pro! This video was taken probably 3/4 through the evening, near his peak, 'cause he started to tire and it went 'downhill' after that.
