Mass App (solo dance Adam Weinert, responsive to smartphone app from audience and remote choreographer):
Mass Mobile App receives its European premiere at Digital Futures in Dance conference.
Mass Mobile App is an interactive platform for audience members to participate and influence live performance. Dancer Adam Weinert responds to live data transmitted by the audience through their smart phones and through live relay with the choreographer Jonah Bokaer in the US.
Through the inaugural ARTech Residency at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Jonah Bokaer developed a smartphone app that acts as an interactive platform for audience members to participate by affecting the stage in different ways. The "Mass Mobile" smartphone App was developed during Jonah Bokaer's inauguration of the ARTech Residency at the Georgia Institute of Technology and Ferst Centre for the Arts. Created in collaboration with the Digital School of Music.
