I started this piece with the intention of doing a scrape away. However, the results were not appealing at all. I decided to do a shellac burn to enhance the areas that had been scraped away.

The resulting work turned out gorgeous.

  • Mo I haven't. I have been away from encaustics for the past couple of months. It is definitely on my to-do list when I jump back into the hot wax.
