There is only one verse that suggests that the Antichrist will be Roman, all other verses (and all external evidence) points to Islam. The verse is the one, and this is off the top of my head,

that says, [paraphrased] "the temple will be destroyed by the people of the antichrist." Well, the temple was destroyed by Romans. BUTTTT it could also mean "Gentiles," which would include both Romans and Muslims.

And then of course, if Islam takes over Europe, that would solve the conundrum.

@hannahr77 If that's a muslim-made video, you need to be aware of this: To muslims "Romans" is equated with "THe West" which is equated with "Christians." So basically, when they say 'rome' they mean 'anywhere where Christianity is dominant, particularly America.'

With this knowledge, I think you'll be able to understand the meaning of whatever video you're referring to better.

@hannahr77 There is no disagreement that the antichrist will be islamic in nature. However, base on my understanding of prophecy in the OT and the NT one part of what to look out for in the characteristic of the antichrist is the fact that he will come from the revive roman empire. Connecting current events & bible prophecy, I concluded that he would come from Turkey because Constantinople/Istambul was the capital of Rome at one point in history. That's my opinion.

@raith0818 I personally believe he comes from the Middle East or from Turkey. The Roman Empire was vast. They ruled parts of Europe, all of the Middle East, & Africa.
