The Ministry of the Unnoticed

From the book, "The Love of God" - Oswald Chambers

"The joy of the Lord Jesus Christ lay in doing exactly what He came to do. He did not come to save men first of all, He came to do His Fathers will."

A message for Christians desiring to live an abiding life in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Music: J.S. Bach

  • Thank you.

  • interesting phrasing when he speaks of fulfilling the purpose of our recreation. was immediately made to see it as re-creation as speaking of our being made new creatures in Christ.

  • wow. the more i read or hear from this man the more i am amazed. in all my days in the past of being raised in so-called conservative churches, i never once remember ever hearing such words. seems it is as he stated here-that they were more interested in 'winning souls' than in following and exalting the Lord Jesus Christ. and i find that i still have the residue of that kind of thinking that the Lord has been repenting me of too. Thank you Lord for your mercy in giving us faithful servants.

  • Very interesting work.....I need to digest this fully.
