  • Eidolon is some king of demon?

  • eidolon is, as far as I know, ghost, soul, aenima, and so :D

  • @SpanishDrumHero In Greek Mythology, Eidolon is an aspect of the human consciousness. From what I understand, the Eidolon is like us, or maybe what Freud would call the Ego. The other part of consciousness is the Daemon, which is what Freud would call the Unconscious. I read that a while ago though, so it may be a bit off.

  • @standdownman it's ok, it means so many things as we can see... :p

  • this drummer is the actual megadeth drummer right?

  • είδωλον is a reflection of you in the mirror

  • @SpanishDrumHero Pretty much yeah, its Greek for apparition

  • @Kysos2

eidolon means idol. In another meaning, the reflection in a mirror

  • Honestly, I prefer Glen Drover to Chris Broderick, if only because I absolutely loved United Abominations and more so than Endgame. Endgame got old a lot faster than United Abominations and I prefer Drover live, as well.

  • @JoshyMyers no Chris broderick solo aint awesome, Chris Broderick solo > awesome

  • awesome song

  • @Kysos2

In Theosophy, an eidolon (Greek ειδωλον: image, idol, double, apparition, phantom, ghost) is the astral double of a living being; a phantom-double of the human form; a shade or perispirit; the kamarupa after death, before its disintegration. The phantom can appear under certain conditions to survivors of the deceased. The term Eidolon was used by Edgar Allan Poe in his poem 'Dreamland' (1844). It was also later used as the subject of Walt Whitman's 'Eidolons' (1876).

  • Glen and Shawn Drover are amazing.
