  • "because God's daughters need to be loved like Christ loved the church" @5:14

    Amen.

  • He makes some good points in his speeches but is sexist in general. I suggest reading 10 lies men believe and Abusing Scripture as well what Paul really said about Women. I wish he'd come at this from a more Egalitarian view. My husband and I are leaders/partners together as the bible clearly states many times over that we should be. When you disempower women, sadly you encourage what he is so against. Please be open minded and read the books I suggested.

  • It's a shame he didn't talk about abusive women!

  • AMEN!!!!!

  • @SoldierOfChrist110 Thats good you choose to stay single right now just like I do because of this season in your life. I dont know how the people of UK behave but I can almost guarantee you it aint no better here. Yet all Ive been thru I havent lost hope, Im just not gonna be stupid and be used and pushed around. Staying single can be a very wise choice, its up to the Lord to decide otherwise.

  • @79agp No, I have chosen to stay single. I am happy being single. I have just lost faith in women. I only trust God. Both men and women today can't be trusted. The way men behave today in the UK is awful and shameful. It's animal behaviour. But women in the UK are not far behind. Many women in the UK don't even know who the father of their child is. The world is messed up. I just don't like it when people try to put all the blame on men. Both men and women are at fault.

  • @SoldierOfChrist110 Thank you for your feedback, you have to keep the faith. Not all women are like that just like not all men are abusers. I am from close to Houston TX, US. I get frustrated cuz i hav friends who are addicted to loser abusive men. Yes evil does not discriminate man or woman its a people thing. Hang in there and be true to yourself. May God bless and keep you and bring you the right girl at the right time!

  • @79agp In too have lost faith in women and would rather be alone. My point is that women can be just as evil as men but society tries to make more excuses for women. I do not know where you are from, but in the UK where I'm from more and more women are choosing to have relationships with abusive men who take drugs and drink etc, while the good guys continue to get rejected.

  • @SoldierOfChrist110 I know your comment is old and i am just getting around to responding to it. I personally as a woman do not feel the need for special treatment. However I hate fucks that abuse women just bc they feel they can get away with it. I would love to have a good guy, but in our society today they r hard to come by. I am not a gold digger, i make my own way, but so many of these fools want to take over and be 'king'. Fuck that, SERIOUSLY? Im better off alone!

  • @ReallySad1 I completely agree with saying "how dare we," but only if its something that "we" still struggle with. Yes, we all sin. But he's not addressing sin as a whole in this sermon, he's addressing a specific struggle, one which he openly admitted he at one point struggled with, yet doesn't anymore. Truth is bold. Truth hurts. But we just hate being told what we're doing is wrong. Driscoll's a healthy dose of truth, and there is nothing in this that doesn't contradict the bible. Its truth.
