biography:
a former dark hunter turned toa,the only toa on dry air that uses breathing tubes,when he was a young matoran, he was taken hostage by the shadowed one and trained to be a dark hunter,but he betrayed the dark hunters and vowed to send them to where they belong,he then spent years working on the technology to be able to breath without having his original dark hunter mask on,and suceeded in gaining that, and in the process made the technology to open gates with out using the kanohi olmak, he then made 6 swords with the technology in them and created the gatekeepers an elite group of six toas that could control the 10 dimensional gates with the swords designed by caranvas,only so far former dark hunters have joined the gatekeepers team
makuta teridax(lightweight form):

biography:while in control of the brotherhood of makuta,he demanded that makuta tridax and makuta gorast design him a suit of armor where he could move faster and fight quicker,as they progressed in the suit they had some technecalities(?) where the suit would sometimes get up and move with no soul inside it, makuta teridax currently now wheres the suit at all times and acts as a gatekeeper
