@Hommerdk That sounds really interesting an nice! I agree that using KML and Google Earth is simpler and nicer if it offers all necessary features. And you get updated high resolution satellite images for free. So in most cases people will probably use that. Earth3D was developed before Google Earth even existed (at this time it was a product of a company called "Keyhole" which was later bought by Google). So, yes, today there are easier solutions if you do not need the code or OpenGL context.

the new google earth 5 is so awesome u have 3D you can go underwater u ust need to zoom very much it`s so awesome it`s good if u wud download that :D
