'Barkada Tripping' goes to Mambukal...

I would like to share to you our Barkada moments in Mambukal Resort last week. Our group is composed of classmates during elementary with our better half. After years, we are still bonded by friendship that I believe will last for lifetime. We went together in Tigbauan Road, Elementary School in Cabatuan, Iloilo from 1994 -- 2000. Ten of us shares nature trip with the serene environment of Mambukal. We spend two days and two nights from July 8 -- 10, 2011. The trip was a gift to us by Mrs. Josie May Talamor -- Chou, our salutatorian and is now residing in Makati City.

We really enjoy the two day trip. During that short period, we have engaged ourselves in various activities in Mambukal. Aside from swimming in the famous 'hot spring' pool and the trekking seven falls that Mambukal is famous of, we also enjoy riding in its' Slide for Life zipline and climbing on the challenging Rock Climbing Wall.

Mambukal is being known for its beautiful rock formations, lush greenery of trees, ferns, and orchids where we can found also rare butterflies and flying foxes. Mambukal is really an interesting tourist destination with historical significance. During that trip, I discovered that it was established by Japanese named Kokichi Paul Ishiwata in 1927.

Mambukal is really a perfect place for adventure, fun and enjoyment especially when shared with love ones and friends.
