Earth Hour Drumming

Inspired by lights out and candles burning during earth hour on 2008-03-29, i improvised an earthy solo. May be an interesting note, the drums are in a carpeted room, directly above the foundation of a building sitting directly IN THE EARTH. I'd like to think the solidity therein helps the drums reveal their true tone.

Disclaimers! - sound quality stinks because recorded entirely on a sony camera (couldn't plug in the mixer and condensers !) - this is improv! i don't necessarily keep steady time, just feel the ground and the sound :)

Wow. Great way to film a candle for 7 minutes. Good thing there was a camera there to capture that captivating footage. :p
