Now my Encore CS4 keeps crashing when I'm trying to build the DVD and burn it. It's never done this before... No errors, no warnings except for an orphan menu... so frustrated... any suggestions?

thanks for the clean, simple tutorial. i've been following all instructions, however, after the DVD is burned it will not play in dvd player. i'm using verbatim DVD-R's and attempting to view in a fairly new dvd player. is there an issue in using an .avi file?

@pitt9496 Encore will transcode the .avi that you've imported into Encore into the correct DVD format. As long as you set your timeline to "first play" it should play when you insert it into a DVD player. Check the project first to see if there are errors, like "first play" not set or end action not set. Other than that, I can't think of a reason it wouldn't play. Does it play in your computer after the burn? It should, just like a DVD player.

I can't click Send to Encore. How can I do?
kesttyTH 2 months ago
@kesttyTH Make sure your sequence is selected in Premiere Pro first. If you're not selecting the sequence, Send to Encore won't be available. Of course, if Encore didn't install properly and isn't on your computer at all, that's another story. Can't help with that.

Another question for some reason every time I navigate through my MENU buttons it restarts the background music... Can you help? Thanks

@jasonworld2007 I know that happens when in Encore testing it. Try burning a DVD. It shouldn't happen then.
