If you keep a husky indoors all year round, they will constantly loose hair but not as much and as fast as you can see on some videos and yes, my house does look like crazy sometimes, but these hair are considerably easy to remove with a good dog friendly vacuum cleaner :)
@ssips720 I have 2 huskies and I keep them outside mostly, they only shed their undercoat twice a year, it last for a couple of weeks, I agree, not everyone could put up with all this hair which is why I always say to people to learn about the breed before you decide to get one (or more :)) personally I love to pick the hair, and every time I do my garden looks like as if it was snowing :)
@Beaf13 ahh right yeah well we just get fed up, we find it hard to be so consistent the fur seems to never end haha, plus it really gets down into the carpets even after we've brushed her :/
@MrHarp14 I have to agree. I got a furminator for my Husky a couple years ago, and it sees a tonne of use when she's blowing out. I keep a regular grooming comb for the other months, just to keep the fur in my small apartment to a minimum.
Well, I have a husky too and we bought a special shedding tool called the Furminator, you should buy it off Amazon, they go cheap there, we got ours today and it worked amazingly well on our husky :) Hope it helps you
