@plague71 Hello/ No the LULU song was "Leave a little Love" im not sure if she was second i think it might of been Marriane Faithfull with Come and stay with me
all great songs but yes Lulu did the best making the top 10 and so did Marriane
I would love to see the show i missed it first time round
If my memory serves me well, this song won a song contest in the mid-60s. Lulu also had a song in the competition, it didn't win but it was a bigger U.K. hit, It may have been "Lets pretend"!
That is a very daring generalization to make about 80 million people! I've lived in Germany for more than 30 years, and can definitely say they are not all miserable. They may have been more serious years ago, but that has changed an awful lot. But the prejudices persist, as always ;-))
The other thing is, if you watch BBC's Top of the Pops from the early 60s, the audience there look like wax dummies, too - they dance like rusty robots - it's hilarious.
blueroomexit, I suggest you listen to it again. This time, take note of the powerful drum and trumpet introduction, followed by Kenny's haunting 'wall of sound' vocals, the sweet female backing vocals which keep the song flowing and finally, the amazingly powerful snare drum crescendo.Listen again my friend...you'll soon change your mind.

Telkens ik Kenny Lynch hoor, denk ik terug aan het ongeluk van Erik uit de Viertap.

Hi blueroomexit,I'm glad we are in agreement about Germans.
It's a pity were at loggerheads regarding Kenny's music.I'd say Puff is Kenny's second best song.
The BEST is My Own Two Feet.
