id love a retro set of this merckx riding gear...but it silly expensive... i wont pay £105 for a cycling top noo way..!

Ya, no kidding. Today it's so plastic, so ruined. Look at Eddy and the rest, they do not spin. Jeeze, what a superior concept.
Look, the seating and setback position is superior, the bike is not too stiff, therefore unstable........, so too the wheels and it doesn't cost thousands upon thousands upon thosands of dollars nor was ANYTHING made in Taiwan or China, most certainly not Asia.

Notice how he rides with his left knee further away from the frame than his right - just like me. So we've both got a bigger left bollock. Good to know that I have something in common with The Cannibal!
