why does everyone only seem to have one all time favorite guitarist etc?
I can understand liking them for different reasons but "this guy is better than that guy" is like "donuts are better than ferraris..."

At the time Tony's rig consisted of a 80's Peavey head set clean with a distortion box for all the dirty sounds. I also remember that Tony liked Mega Drive Dimarzio pickups and Vinnie liked Dimarzio Double Whammy pickups for the bridge and Al DiMeoola for the neck. That Double Whammy pickup is very cool. Alot of midrange and bass with the treble rolled off, I bought one in the 80's because of Vinnie. Still have it!

Wow. Although I know T Mac played keys on Mind's Eye, I never knew Moore bunked with Tony, much less used his amps, during the recording phase. I sure wish I had your information source. Very interesting.

Im saying he is better than Yngwie - far less predictable, and a jazz-tinged edginess that just cant be as easily replicated... This guy is amazing...
