I used the Patriot 8gb class 6 card. My camera will take two cards and records to sd only. When I hook up to Tv from camera using the HDMI out on camera it looks great . The only thing is when you convert video on to DVD it does not look so good. Playback on computer playing raw files looks good as well . I like the camera but I am still playing around with it
