This is the sixth and final part in a small series of videos taken from our trip to Walt Disney World back in September 2008. With it being my favorite place in the world, and with the trip being as awesome as it was, it's my pleasure to share these memories with you all. I want to thank all of you for watching, it was a true pleasure to remember the wonderful time I had.
But there will be more videos coming from Walt Disney World later this year, as I'm returning to the World October 1-8. I'm really excited for it, for sure! For a WDW enthusiast like me, there's never too many trips to WDW, just never enough! So later this year, look out for Walt Disney World '09!
DAYS 8 & 9:
Day 8 was our last "real" day at the parks, and we decided to soak it up as much as we could. Day 8 saw our final trips (for this trip) to Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios (an impromptu decision), and the Magic Kingdom to bring a grand finale to the trip. At Epcot, we finished up our tour of World Showcase, and had lunch at the Coral Reef Restaurant. I then went myself to Disney's Hollywood Studios, and made a quick trip to The Magic of Disney Animation. A wonderful time, though I do miss the old days of it, where films were actually made there.
Then we brought our grand finale to our trip at the Magic Kingdom. After finishing off any attractions in Tomorrowland, we lined up in the hub for both SpectroMagic and Wishes. Both of them were my first time seeing them in person, and they're wonderful. Wishes is so emotional, this video just doesn't do it justice. It's just an amazing spectacle. A perfect ending to a perfect trip!
Day 9 was our departure and to head back home, we left pretty early in the morning so we weren't able to do anything else before we left. It was certainly sad to head back home, but I knew it would be soon enough that I'd return to my favorite place in the world. Sure enough, I am! My mom and I are returning October 1-8, and you'll definitely see video from that too. So once again, thank you to everybody for watching, and look for more fun coming soon!
The lines in September are very good, not overly crowded. While it's not walk-on for everything, the wait times are very minimal. Very good time to visit!
