I'll know i'll draw some fire for this but for those of you who are trying to find similar sounds, you might enjoy a young kid from Minneapolis named Emancipator. He's starting to blow up, but the stuff he has put out is pretty fun to listen to. He too doesn't use almost any pre-recorded sampling and instead records live artists (cellists, guitarists etc etc) and then samples those parts over electronic beats. I have loved Telefon for some time now, just trying to help people out. :)
