Thow out all the wetbacks

Even if the states sell their assets they need to cut spending. Alot of the big salaries need to be cut. In New Jersey we had 605 school superintendents making 175K -300k per year plus car, medical, secretaries that do not type, etc.... 50 of them have no schools to be in charge of! They all have big staffs, big offices, big expenses and our property taxes on a average 2000 sq foot home is 8,500 per year. Gov Chris Christie just got voted in Jan. and he is starting to cut each dept.

Of the top 7 states in budget crisis all are in the top 10 states with the most illegal aliens....go figure.
Ca. alien costs projected @ 9.6 Billion in 2009, 10.1 in y2010 and Ca is just over 20 Billion in the red in 2010..go figure.
y2011 Ca in est 26 billion+ because of deferred costs and additional interest costs.
Basically, Ca without illegal alien costs could have balanced the budget back in 2008 by cutting off all services to illegals...to late now, deferred + int ballooning.

Don't buy! Save Save Save your money. If you want a win win , buy silver oz and this way you bought and saved at the same time. Check out the 20 K people in Las Vegas at a tea party.... Check out constitution party. IT'S WHERE i HANG MY HAT.
NJ 14 billion in the hole.

IN New Jersey we are broke as well 14 billion in the hole. Gov Christie cut all the state dept from 5% - 39 % of the employees. In New Jersey we have a property tax rebate system. Basically you pay your property taxes and then the state govermant returns about $1,200 of it back. Gov Christie fire 39% of the tresaury workers and instead od giving us a $1,000 back he will give a credit to the local municipalities so then we can have a lower tax bill each year. Do not buy,

@Mr2wings Good info. $8500/year is outrageous, and I thought my taxes were high. Unfortunately, worthless people with unnecessary jobs exist throughout state & federal government and Obama is growing the Federal government bigger & bigger. I'm glad you say Christie is trying to cut spending in NJ, but what can he really do with the Union deal made by his predecessor?!!

3 days of no taxes, are they kidding, what fools. Maybe 3 months of no income tax might slow the decline, and give us more time to adjust to the crash, but it want stop it only delay and soften it.

30 days of no sales taxes.
By the way, how will the government pay for this?

Good post Dem.... If the States dont sell assets, they are going to have to raise all taxes on its citizens. The question is, are their going to be enough buyers for these assets.

Demcad have you heard about commercial real estate? Some say it will be as bad or even worse than the residential housing market and that its the next shoe to drop.

I've made a video about commercial real estate. Gerald Celente has forecast a major meltdown in 09.
