Glenn Beck reports on Sarah Palin's signing of Alaska House Joint Resolution 27, claiming sovereignty for the state under the 10th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States. The resolution serves notice to the federal government that it should cease and desist any activities beyond the scope of their constitutionally-delegated powers. Six other states have had both houses of their legislature pass such a resolution - Palin is the 2nd governor (with Bredesen of TN) to have signed one.
As an Alaskan, I was glad to see that bill get signed along with a gun rights bill, but I do not think Palin is a conservative.

It's hard to say which is more important, the 2nd amendment or the 10th.
I think the only thing that will save this country from total economic destruction is for the states to stand up and start asserting their rights.

Alaska joins several other states. Texas and many other states are well on their way.
There is a broad revolt among the States which are very angry about what the federal government has been doing to them and their people over the last decade.
