but settled in Chennai.Her father Murlidhar runs a wholesale Jewellery Shop in Chennai and mother Madhu is helping him
in his business.She is doing her Ist year B.Com by correspondence.

Career:

Roma's debut film in malayalam was Notebook. it was a hit. She became very popular after the success of notebook.. After
her superb performance in "Notebook" she did not accept many roles...she chose only good roles .. for her performance in
Notebook, she was awarded best newcomer by film critics,asianet tv, amrita tv & kalakeralam...
She has also acted in the telugu movie Dr. Erra babu & tamil movie kathale en kathale....She has done many Ads in malayalam
& tamil. it include kalyan sarees, triveni notebook,sunny jacob jewellers, swadeshi mermer,archana silks.Her second malayalam film was July 4..although July 4 was a flop, her perfomance in the movie was
appreciated...Her next movie is Chocolate with prithviraj.. it is directed by Shafi & produced by muraleedharan(Producer of
Classmates)
